Description

Quick and easy falafel patties made in an air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, flour, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper.
  3. Blend until a coarse mixture forms.
  4. Form the mixture into small patties.
  5. Brush each patty with olive oil.
  6. Place the patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  7. Cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  8. Remove and serve with your favorite sauce.

Notes

  • Serve with tahini or yogurt sauce.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Can be frozen for up to 2 months.
