Description
Quick and easy meatball subs made in an air fryer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 sub rolls
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs.
- Place meatballs in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10 minutes or until cooked through.
- While meatballs cook, heat marinara sauce in a saucepan.
- Once meatballs are done, place them in sub rolls.
- Spoon marinara sauce over meatballs.
- Top with mozzarella cheese.
- Return to air fryer for 2-3 minutes to melt cheese.
Notes
- Use ground turkey for a lighter option.
- Add extra spices for more flavor.
- Substitute marinara with your favorite sauce.
