Ingredients

- 2 fillets of white fish (e.g., cod, haddock)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup beer or sparkling water
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Add beer or sparkling water to the dry ingredients and whisk until smooth.
- Dip each fish fillet into the batter, coating it thoroughly.
- Place the battered fish in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Spray the fish lightly with cooking spray.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.
- Remove and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve with tartar sauce or lemon wedges.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Cook in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
