Description
A simple and healthy recipe for crispy air-fried broccoli that is bursting with flavor and nutrition.
Ingredients
- 🥦 Fresh broccoli florets – 500 grams (about 4 cups)
- 🛢️ Olive oil – 2 tablespoons
- 🧄 Garlic powder – 1 teaspoon
- 🧂 Salt – 1/2 teaspoon (or to taste)
- 🌶️ Black pepper – 1/4 teaspoon (or to taste)
- 🍋 Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon
Instructions
- Rinse the fresh broccoli florets under cold water and pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the seasoned broccoli florets in the air fryer basket in a single layer and set the timer for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Check for doneness after 8 minutes; the florets should be tender and have a lovely char. If needed, cook for an additional minute or two.
Notes
- Fresh broccoli is preferred for the best flavor and texture.
- Smaller florets cook more evenly and get crispier.
- Adjust cooking time based on the size of the florets and your air fryer model.
- Shake the basket halfway through cooking for even crispiness.
