Description
Delicious and healthy carrot cake bites made in an air fryer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups grated carrots
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup applesauce
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix grated carrots, almond flour, oats, honey, and applesauce.
- Add baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Stir well.
- Fold in chopped walnuts.
- Form small balls from the mixture.
- Place the balls in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Can substitute honey with maple syrup for a vegan option.
- Adjust spices according to your taste.
