A quick and easy recipe for crispy and juicy chicken drumsticks made in an air fryer.
Ingredients
- 🍗 Chicken Drumsticks: 1 kg (about 2.2 lbs)
- 🛢️ Olive Oil: 2 tablespoons
- 🧄 Garlic Powder: 1 teaspoon
- 🌶️ Paprika: 1 teaspoon
- 🧂 Salt: 1 teaspoon (adjust to taste)
- 🧂 Black Pepper: 1/2 teaspoon (adjust to taste)
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken drumsticks by mixing olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the chicken drumsticks to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for about 5 minutes.
- Arrange the marinated drumsticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook the drumsticks for 25-30 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
- Check the internal temperature of the drumsticks with a meat thermometer; it should reach 75°C (165°F). If not done, cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Let the drumsticks rest for a few minutes before serving.
