Ingredients
- 🍗 Chicken breast – 1 lb (about 450 g), cut into strips
- 🍞 Breadcrumbs – 1 cup (preferably panko for extra crunch)
- 🥚 Eggs – 2 large, beaten
- 🧄 Garlic powder – 1 teaspoon
- 🌶️ Paprika – 1 teaspoon
- 🧂 Salt – 1 teaspoon
- 🧂 Pepper – 1/2 teaspoon
- 🛢️ Olive oil – 2 tablespoons (for drizzling)
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken by cutting it into strips and patting it dry with paper towels.
- Create the breading mixture by combining beaten eggs in one bowl and breadcrumbs with spices in another.
- Coat each chicken strip in the egg wash, then roll it in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Lightly spray or drizzle the air fryer basket with olive oil and arrange the chicken tenders in a single layer.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Let the chicken tenders rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
