Description
Delicious and chewy coconut macaroons made in an air fryer.
Ingredients

- 2 1/2 cups shredded coconut
- 2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 large egg whites
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- In a bowl, mix shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the egg whites until soft peaks form.
- Gently fold the egg whites into the coconut mixture.
- Use a spoon to scoop the mixture and form small mounds.
- Place the mounds in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- If using, melt chocolate chips and drizzle over the macaroons after cooling.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
- For a tropical twist, add a few drops of almond extract.
