Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, parsley, cilantro, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth.
  3. Add flour and mix well.
  4. Form the mixture into small balls or patties.
  5. Brush each falafel with olive oil.
  6. Place falafel in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  7. Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.

Notes

  • Serve with tahini sauce or yogurt.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • For a spicier version, add cayenne pepper to the mixture.
