Description

Crispy air fryer falafel served in a wrap.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Whole wheat wraps
  • Fresh vegetables (lettuce, tomato, cucumber)
  • Tahini sauce or yogurt for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, parsley, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper. Pulse until combined.
  3. Add flour and mix well.
  4. Form mixture into small balls or patties.
  5. Brush with olive oil.
  6. Place in air fryer and cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  7. Warm the wraps in the air fryer for 2 minutes.
  8. Assemble wraps with falafel and fresh vegetables.
  9. Drizzle with tahini sauce or yogurt before serving.

Notes

  • Chickpeas can be soaked overnight for better texture.
  • Adjust spices to taste.
  • Serve immediately for best texture.
