Crispy and juicy air fryer fried chicken that is easy to make.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken pieces
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  3. Dredge each piece of chicken in the flour mixture.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Spray chicken pieces with cooking spray.
  6. Arrange chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  7. Cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  8. Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
