Ingredients
- 🍗 Chicken Breasts: 4 pieces (about 1.5 lbs or 680 g)
- 🛢️ Olive Oil: 3 tablespoons
- 🍋 Lemon Juice: 2 tablespoons (freshly squeezed)
- 🧄 Garlic: 3 cloves (minced)
- 🌿 Dried Oregano: 2 teaspoons
- 🧂 Salt: 1 teaspoon (or to taste)
- 🧂 Black Pepper: 1/2 teaspoon (or to taste)
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken by whisking together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper in a mixing bowl.
- Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag, pour the marinade over, and massage it into the chicken. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably up to 2 hours.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting excess drip off, and place in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
