Description

Crispy and delicious air fryer onion rings made with a simple batter.


Ingredients

  • 2 large onions, sliced into rings
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  4. Dip onion rings in the flour mixture, then in the eggs, and finally in the breadcrumbs.
  5. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  6. Place the onion rings in the basket in a single layer.
  7. Spray the tops of the onion rings with cooking spray.
  8. Cook for 10 minutes or until golden brown, flipping halfway through.

Notes

  • Use sweet onions for a milder flavor.
  • For a spicier kick, add cayenne pepper to the flour mixture.
