Crispy and delicious homemade onion rings made in an air fryer.
Ingredients

- 2 large onions, sliced into rings
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (182°C).
- Slice the onions into rings and separate them.
- In one bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs.
- In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
- Coat each onion ring in the flour mixture, dip in the eggs, and then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Arrange the coated onion rings in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Spray the onion rings lightly with cooking spray.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.
Notes
- For extra crunch, double coat the onion rings.
- Experiment with different seasonings in the breadcrumb mix.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
