Description

A delicious and moist pineapple upside down cake made in an air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 can pineapple slices in juice
  • Maraschino cherries
  • Brown sugar for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
  4. Stir in milk and vanilla.
  5. In another bowl, combine flour and baking powder; gradually add to the wet ingredients.
  6. Prepare the air fryer pan with brown sugar.
  7. Arrange pineapple slices and cherries on top of the brown sugar.
  8. Pour the batter over the pineapple and cherries.
  9. Air fry for 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let cool before inverting onto a plate.
