Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken (about 45 lbs)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (182°C).
  2. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
  3. Rub the olive oil all over the chicken.
  4. Mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and thyme in a bowl.
  5. Season the chicken evenly with the spice mixture.
  6. Place the chicken in the air fryer basket, breast side down.
  7. Cook for 30 minutes, then flip the chicken to breast side up.
  8. Cook for another 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
