A delicious and healthy recipe for air fryer sweet potatoes that are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
Ingredients
- 🍠 Sweet Potatoes: 2 large (about 1.5 lbs or 680 g)
- 🛢️ Olive Oil: 2 tablespoons
- 🧂 Salt: 1 teaspoon (or to taste)
- 🌶️ Black Pepper: 1/2 teaspoon (or to taste)
- 🌶️ Paprika: 1 teaspoon
Instructions
- Wash the sweet potatoes under cool running water and peel off the skin.
- Cut the sweet potatoes into 1-inch cubes and place them in a mixing bowl.
- Drizzle olive oil over the sweet potato cubes and sprinkle with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Toss to coat evenly.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the seasoned sweet potato cubes in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Check for doneness after 15 minutes; if needed, cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until tender and caramelized.
- Let cool for a couple of minutes before serving.

- Experiment with different spices like garlic powder or cayenne pepper for added flavor.
- Ensure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket for even cooking.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-5 days.
