- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 cup biscuit mix
- 1/2 cup milk (for biscuits)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
- Add chicken broth and milk gradually, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
- Mix in the shredded chicken and frozen vegetables.
- Pour the mixture into a baking dish.
- In a bowl, combine biscuit mix and milk until a dough forms.
- Drop spoonfuls of the biscuit dough over the chicken mixture.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
Notes
- Use leftover chicken for a quicker prep time.
- Feel free to add your favorite vegetables.
