Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup diced chicken
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add garlic and onion; sauté until fragrant.
- Add chicken and cook until browned.
- Stir in bell pepper and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add cooked rice and soy sauce; mix well.
- Push the rice mixture to one side; pour in beaten eggs.
- Scramble the eggs and mix them into the rice.
- Add fresh basil, salt, and pepper; stir to combine.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
Notes
- Use day-old rice for best results.
- Adjust soy sauce based on preference.
- Add veggies like peas or carrots if desired.
