Ingredients

  • 23 green chilies, slit
  • 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
  • 1 tablespoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.
  2. Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Mix in ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, cook for a few minutes.
  4. Add chicken pieces and cook until they turn white.
  5. Stir in tomato puree and cook until oil separates.
  6. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
  7. Add water as needed, cover, and simmer until chicken is tender.
  8. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
