Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup peas
  • 1 cup potatoes, diced
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add flour and stir for 1 minute.
  4. Add chicken broth and milk, stirring until thickened.
  5. Stir in chicken, carrots, peas, potatoes, salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.
  6. Pour the mixture into a pie crust.
  7. Cover with another pie crust, sealing edges.
  8. Cut slits in the top crust for steam to escape.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
