- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup white rice, uncooked
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup asparagus, cut into pieces
- 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the cooked chicken, rice, chicken broth, asparagus, cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove foil, sprinkle cheddar cheese on top, and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted.
Notes
- You can substitute brown rice for white rice for a healthier option.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like peas or carrots.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and frozen.
