Description

This is a classic Chicken Teriyaki recipe inspired by Nobu Matsuhisa.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken fillets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons mirin
  • 2 tablespoons sake
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Mix soy sauce, mirin, sake, and sugar in a bowl.
  2. Marinate chicken in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
  5. Pour remaining marinade into the pan and cook for 2 minutes.
  6. Slice the chicken and serve with sauce, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.
