Description
This is a classic Chicken Teriyaki recipe inspired by Nobu Matsuhisa.
Ingredients

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken fillets
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons mirin
- 2 tablespoons sake
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Mix soy sauce, mirin, sake, and sugar in a bowl.
- Marinate chicken in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
- Pour remaining marinade into the pan and cook for 2 minutes.
- Slice the chicken and serve with sauce, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.
Notes
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less sugar.
- Serve with steamed rice or vegetables.
- Use fresh ingredients for best flavor.
