A fun and creative cake designed to resemble a chicken.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Food coloring (yellow and red)
- Buttercream frosting
- Chocolate chips (for eyes)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
- Stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
- Combine the flour and baking powder, then add to the wet mixture.
- Divide the batter into two bowls. Color one yellow and the other red.
- Pour the yellow batter into a greased cake pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely.
- Frost the cake with buttercream frosting and decorate to look like a chicken.
Notes
- Use a round cake pan for a more rounded shape.
- Experiment with different colors for decoration.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
