Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 4 large eggs

  • 2 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Food coloring (yellow and red)
  • Buttercream frosting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  4. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
  5. Combine the flour and baking powder, then add to the wet mixture.
  6. Divide the batter into two bowls. Color one yellow and the other red.
  7. Pour the yellow batter into a greased cake pan.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let the cake cool completely.
  10. Frost the cake with buttercream frosting and decorate to look like a chicken.
