Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Tortilla strips for garnish
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, sauté onion and garlic until soft.
  2. Add chicken broth, diced tomatoes, black beans, corn, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. Add shredded chicken and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with tortilla strips and cilantro.
