A creamy and cheesy baked ziti dish that is comforting and easy to prepare.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ziti pasta
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. In a large bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the cooked pasta and marinara sauce to the ricotta mixture and stir to combine.
  5. Spread half of the pasta mixture in a baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses on top.
  7. Add the remaining pasta mixture and top with the rest of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.

Notes

  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking.
