- 4 boneless, skinless chicken fillets
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup Marsala wine
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season chicken fillets with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Dredge chicken in flour, shaking off excess.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add chicken and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet.
- Add mushrooms to the same skillet and sauté until soft.
- Pour in Marsala wine and simmer for 3 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and return chicken to the skillet.
- Simmer until chicken is cooked through and sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
- Serve hot with sauce over the chicken.
