Description
This recipe makes crispy and flavorful falafel using an air fryer.
Ingredients

- 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp coriander
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp flour
- Olive oil spray
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine chickpeas, parsley, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, baking powder, and salt.
- Pulse until mixture is coarse but holds together.
- Add flour and pulse to combine.
- Form small balls or patties from the mixture.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Spray the falafel with olive oil spray.
- Place falafel in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes until golden brown, flipping halfway through.
- Serve warm with your favorite sauce.
Notes
- Soak chickpeas overnight for better texture.
- Adjust spices according to your preference.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
