This recipe provides a simple way to make crispy fried chicken using an air fryer.

- 1 lb chicken pieces
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Marinate chicken in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
- In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge marinated chicken pieces in the flour mixture.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Place chicken in the basket in a single layer.
- Spray the top of the chicken with additional cooking spray.
- Cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Check for internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) before serving.
Notes
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- For extra crispiness, add more flour or use panko breadcrumbs.
