Description

A tasty dish combining orange chicken with fried rice.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix orange juice, soy sauce, sugar, and cornstarch in a bowl.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add chicken and cook until browned.
  4. Pour the orange sauce over the chicken and cook until thickened.
  5. In another pan, stir-fry mixed vegetables.
  6. Add cooked rice to the vegetables and mix well.
  7. Serve chicken over fried rice and garnish with green onions.

Notes

  • Use fresh orange juice for better flavor.
  • Add chili flakes for spice.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
