Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
  3. Place chicken wings in a large bowl and pour the marinade over them. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Remove wings from marinade and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes, turning halfway through.
  6. In a small pot, heat the remaining marinade and add cornstarch to thicken it.
  7. Once wings are done, brush the thickened sauce over them and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, broil the wings for 2-3 minutes after baking.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.
