Description

Tender slow roasted lamb shoulder glazed with rosemary, garlic, and honey.


Ingredients

  • 1 whole lamb shoulder (about 45 lbs)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix garlic, rosemary, honey, salt, and pepper.
  3. Rub the mixture all over the lamb shoulder.
  4. Place the lamb in a roasting pan and pour vegetable broth around it.
  5. Cover the pan with foil and roast for 3 hours.
  6. Remove the foil and roast for an additional 30 minutes for a crispy exterior.
  7. Let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
